Privacy notice
Your email, and nothing more than we need.
This notice explains what happens to the details you give us when you join the Caply early-access list or ask for a demo, and how we measure visits if you allow it. It gives you the information required by Article 13 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Last updated: 16 October 2026 · Consent text version: v1
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Data Guideline Andrzej Strzała, ul. Kukuczki 8/2, Wrocław, Poland, NIP 8942941801.
For anything about your data, write to andrew@dataguideline.com. We answer within one month, usually much sooner.
2. What we collect
- Email address: required.
- Name and company: optional, only in the form at the bottom of the page.
- What you asked for: a launch email or a live demo.
- Your browser’s language, so we can write to you in English or Polish.
- When you gave consent and which version of the consent text you saw.
The site uses no cookies, tracking pixels or advertising tools, except Google Analytics if you accept it in the cookie banner (see section 5). Everything else on it, fonts and video included, is served from our own hosting.
3. Why, and on what legal basis
We use your details only to:
- send you one email when Caply is available, or
- contact you to arrange a live demo, if you asked for one.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Sending you that email also relies on your consent under the Polish Electronic Communications Law. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to the address above or replying to our email; this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Giving us your details is voluntary. Without an email address we simply cannot tell you about the launch.
We do not sell your data, share it for marketing, or use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. How long we keep it
- Launch list: until we have sent the launch email, and no longer than 12 months after Caply launches.
- Demo requests: until the demo has taken place or you tell us you are no longer interested, and no longer than 12 months after your request.
- If you withdraw consent or ask us to delete your data, we delete it without undue delay, at the latest within one month.
5. Visit statistics (Google Analytics, only if you accept)
If you click Accept in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which parts of the page people read. Nothing from Google loads until you accept, and if you reject, nothing loads at all.
- What is collected: pages viewed, scrolling, clicks on links and the video, the site you came from, your approximate location (country or city), device, browser and screen size. Google uses your IP address to work out the location but does not store it.
- Cookies:
_gaand_ga_ZH7D9XKGMT, which tell visits by the same browser apart, kept for up to 2 years. We also remember your choice in your browser’s local storage so we don’t ask again. - Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and the Polish Electronic Communications Law).
- Provider: Google Ireland Limited, acting as our processor. Google may transfer the data to the United States; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and the Standard Contractual Clauses also apply.
- How long: statistics are kept for 2 months, then deleted by Google.
- Changing your mind: click Cookie settings at the bottom of any page and choose Reject. We then delete the Analytics cookies from your browser.
The statistics are not linked to the email you give us, and we do not use them for advertising or profiling.
6. Who else processes it
The site and the signup list run on Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.), which acts as our processor under Microsoft’s Data Protection Addendum. The list is stored in an Azure data centre in the European Union. Like any web host, Azure handles your IP address briefly to deliver the page and protect the service.
Microsoft may access data from outside the EEA for support and security. Those transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Microsoft is certified, and by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and get a copy of it,
- have it corrected,
- have it deleted,
- restrict how we use it,
- receive it in a portable format,
- withdraw your consent at any time.
Just write to andrew@dataguideline.com.
You may also complain to the Polish data protection authority: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl.
8. Changes
If we change how we use your data, we will update this page and the date above. We will not use your details for anything new without asking you first.
